Migos Pay Tribute To Chadwick Boseman, Pop Smoke & More At iHeart Festival

Migos brought the heat for night one of the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday (September 18).

Performing in front of the virtual Capital One Fan Wall, Quavo, Offset and Takeoff kicked off their hit-filled performance with their 2018 single, "Motorsport." From there they tapped into their lengthy catalog, performing, “Deadz,” "Fight Night,” “Kelly Price,” “Narcos,” “Slippery,” "Ric Flair Drop," "T-Shirt," and more.

The Atlanta trio also took the time to pay tribute to, Pop Smoke, performing “Shake The Room," before concluding their set with Quavo's collab with the late rapper, "Aim For The Moon." As they performed the final track, they honored the additional "heroes" we've lost in 2020, including basketball legend Kobe Bryant, Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, and "all the lives" lost to police brutality.

Last month, Migos premiered their latest music video for their hit, “Need It,” feat. YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

The track was originally released in May. Quavo teased the Buddah Bless-produced project hours prior its arrival as part of his high school graduation announcement. "Finally Can Say I Graduated High School Class Of 2020 We Lit 🔥 Now What College Should I Go To? 🧐 And To Celebrate We Gonna Drop SMASH TONIGHT 🔥🌊 BERKMAR HIGH NAWFSIDE BABY," he wrote.

Migos is rumored to be prepping to release their highly-anticipated fourth studio album, the third installment of their Culture series. The project was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, in April, the group revealed their plans to drop a "quarantine mixtape" before releasing Culture III.

"Quarantine Mixtape?? Jus To Keep Y’all Straight. Then Culture 3. When All This Is Over!" Quavo tweeted. "Y’all F**k Wit That? Cuz We Ready To Drop. ASAP Original Migo Mixtape!!! Day 1 Sh*t."

In case you missed it, or just want to re-live all of the epic performances from this year’s iHeartRadio Music Festival, tune in to the two-night highlights special on The CW on September 27 and 28 from 8-10pm ET/PT.
