Luke Combs Releases New Single, 'Without You' Featuring Amanda Shires

Luke Combs has released a new song called "Without You" on Friday (September 19). The track, featuring singer-songwriter Amanda Shires, serves as a love letter to his fans, parents and wife, Nicole Hocking Combs.

"When I'm up here on this stage, the spotlight's on my face / But I see you," Combs sings. "Sure, it's me behind this mic stand, and it's me strummin' this Gibson / It's me they love to give the credit to / But me don’t mean a thing without you."

On the official release date, Combs turned to Instagram to reflect on what the song means to him. "It is a thank you to my family, my wife, and to my incredible fans for everything," he shares. "It feels like perfect timing."

As the superstar said, the timing of the release couldn't be more fitting. On Wednesday night (September 18), at the 2020 ACM Awards, Combs was named Male Artist of the Year and earned Album of the Year for his 2019 sophomore album, What You See Is What You Get.

"None of this is possible without you, THANK YOU. Thank you for letting me live this crazy dream I get to wake up to everyday," he continues. "I will never take it for granted and I will never stop making music for y’all. I would love you to go take a listen and let me know what you think."

Along with the new song, Combs also revealed the tracklisting for his upcoming deluxe album, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, due out on October 23. In addition to "Without You" the new project will also include "Cold As You," "The Other Guy," "My Kinda Folk," and "Forever After All."
