You can now put "Purdue graduate" in front of Tyler Trent's name.
The sophomore and Carmel native received his associate's degree from the university earlier this week, which is an amazing accomplishment considering his lengthy battle with a rare form of bone cancer - a battle that he's been fighting since before he even stepped on campus in West Lafayette.
Trent shared his story and talked about the impact of earning his degree (on his dad's birthday, making it even more special!). Obviously, we couldn't conclude the conversation without talking about his beloved Boilermakers, too.
